A man was sentenced in Overton County Criminal Court yesterday on several charges. Court officials say 40-year-old Calvin D. Booher received 15 years to serve at 100 percent on two counts of aggravated arson and 9 years to serve at 30 percent for arson, theft of property, attempted carjacking and tampering with evidence. The two sentences will be served consecutively. An additional charge of solicitation to commit first-degree murder of a witness in the arson case was dismissed in the plea deal.
