DYER ARRESTED AFTER INTOXICATED TEEN FOUND IN A DITCH

Last night, Roane County deputies went to a home on Peninsula Road near Kirkham Drive in Rockwood for a welfare check. Officers found an unresponsive and intoxicated juvenile in a ditch. Medical crews were able to wake up the minor after several attempts and took him to Roane Medical Center. Officers state he was with his uncle, 48-year-old Christopher Todd Dyer, helping with a home improvement job when both supposedly consumed alcohol. Dyer was arrested for reckless endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
