JUVENILE ARRESTED IN MORGAN COUNTY FOR SCHOOL THREAT

Police responded Thursday (November 1, 2018) to Wartburg Central High School concerning a threat of violence involving a firearm by a male student against several others. Officer’s arrived on scene and began investigating the matter late into the evening. Yesterday morning (Friday, November 2, 2018), Wartburg police officers took the male juvenile into custody for this incident at his residence. He was charged with eight counts of assault for putting his classmates in reasonable fear of imminent bodily harm, and one charge of domestic assault against a family member.
