A man who left a Kingston police officer injured in a traffic altercation over a year ago has been sentenced. Roane County court officials say Henry Nicholas Brown received 12 years in prison yesterday for aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and evading arrest by Criminal Court Judge Jeff Wicks. Brown struck Sgt. Jerry Singleton with his vehicle after a traffic stop on Highway 58 on August 6, 2017. Brown was later arrested at a home on Evans Road.
