The Kingston Fire Department will be conducting a controlled burn starting at 9 a.m. eastern at the Kingston Public Works Facility on James Ferry Road to burn brush that has been collected by the city over the past year. This has been approved by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and they will have a representative on site. There will be a lot of black smoke visible and the Kingston Fire Department ask for citizens patience during this process.
