THOMPSON INJURED IN PICKETT COUNTY VEHICLE ACCIDENT

A woman was injured this morning in a single vehicle accident on Highway 325 in Pickett County.

The report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol states 45-year-old Angela Thompson of Byrdstown was traveling east in a 2012 Dodge Caravan when her vehicle left the road, traveled down a steep embankment, and landed on its top in a shallow creek.

Thompson had to be extricated from her vehicle and transported to Livingston Regional Medical Center for treatment.
