2018 LOCAL TRUNK OR TREAT EVENTS – UPDATED OCT, 24, 2018

Here is the list for the Trunk-or-Treat events being held in Cumberland and Roane County this year. This list can be added on to so be sure to check back leading up to the first events. Also, share this with others. (List updated Thursday, October 26, 2018 at 5:30 a.m.)

CUMBERLAND COUNTY

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2018

Cumberland Mountain State Park will host a Trunk or Treat from 3 to 7 p.m. central. Owl Program & Halloween Crafts from 3 to 5 p.m., Pumpkin Carving Contest 3:30 to 5 p.m. (Please bring your pumpkin already carved), food will be served from 3 to 5 p.m. and a costume contest from 4 to 5 p.m. Trunk or Treat Event from 5 to 7 p.m. Campers have been instructed to not hand out candy before 5:00 p.m. Please do not enter the campground before 5:00 p.m. Hay rides to and from the recreation lodge will NOT be available this year. Please be prepared to walk ½ mile one way to the event from the recreation lodge parking area as well as the upper and lower playground areas. The park apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause participants. All trunk or treat participants to park in the swimming pool parking lot first, then the upper playground area.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department will hold their annual Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Justice Center.

Abundant Life COGOP Trunk or Treat – from 4 to 7 p.m. at 1660 Peavine Road. Candy, hot dogs, hot cocoa and inflatables will be featured. Everyone is welcome!

Cumberland Homesteads Baptist Church Fall Festival – from 4 to 7 p.m. featuring a trunk or treat, hay rides, a cake walk, face painting, hot dogs, crafts and games. The church is located at 4427 Highway 127 South in Cumberland County.

Alloway Baptist Church – located at 985 Alloway Road in Grandview will hold their 3rd annual Falloween from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. central. Free food, candy, games will be featured.

Christian Academy of the Cumberlands – 2nd Annual Fall Carnival from 3 to 7 p.m. at the former youth center on Hayes Street. Loot bags with candy will be handed out at the door for all carnival participants. Games for the entire family (tickets for the games is 25 cent each) A retro candy store, silent dessert auction and cotton candy is some of the items featured.

Crossville First Church of the Nazarene (Across from Walmart)– Fall festival from 5 to 8 p.m. Fun for the entire family will be featured. Tickets will be sold to play games. A concession stand will also be available. The money raised goes to help pay for a youth conference/mission trip.

Old Fashion Independent Baptist Church in Crossville – Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 27th from 5 to 7 p.m. The church is located at 250 10th Street in Crossville (across the street from Good Samaritans Thrift Store). All are welcome.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31

Rocky Top 10 / 105.7 The Hog – 105.7 The Hog will host a Trunk or Treat at the Rocky Top 10 theater on Interstate Drive in Crossville from 5 to 7 p.m. October 31.

Simple Life Church in Crossville – Trunk or Treat in the IGA parking lot on Main Street from 5 to 8 p.m.. Everyone is welcome

Homestead United Methodist Church – Trunk or Treat and Chili Cookoff – from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. Candy and hot dogs will be featured in this family friendly event!

Fredonia Baptist Church – located on Fredonia Road in Cumberland County will hold a trunk of treat from 5 to 7 p.m.

Lake Tansi Trunk or Treat – from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Thunderbird Recreation Center

Boo on Main Street in Crossville – 5 to 8 p.m. downtown Main Street in Crossville. Treats and fun for the entire family

Pleasant Hill Baptist Mission Church – located at 39 Browntown Road in Crossville will have a trunk or treat starting at 6 p.m. Lots of candy, hot dogs, hot chocolate and door prizes will be featured.

Lantana Road Baptist Church – 5:30 to 8 p.m.. Candy, hayrides, trunk-or-treat and inflatables will be featured.

Memorial Baptist Church – located at 1858 Sparta Highway in Crossville will hold their trunk or treat from 5 to 7 p.m.

Revolution Church (Located in VF Mall in Crossville) – 6 to 8 p.m.

Faith Assembly of God – 6 to 8 p.m. trunk or treat

Brown’s Chapel Church of God – located on Deck Road from 6 to 8 p.m. Lots of candy, hot dogs, and snacks

Crossville First Free Will Baptist Church – Fall Festival from 6 to 8 p.m.

ROANE COUNTY

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2018

Jamestowne Assisted Living in Kingston – Annual fall festival from 4 to 7 p.m.

Church of the Mighty God in Midtown – 6 to 9 p.m. with events for the entire family

Sugar Grove Baptist Church in Harriman – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. fall festival and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. is trunk-or-treat

Almighty God Church in Midtown – starts at 6 p.m. until candy is gone.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2018

First Baptist Church of Oliver Springs – Community Eat and Treat from 5 to 6:30 p.m. eastern with food, games and treats for all ages. Costumes are optional but most welcome. Door prizes will be given out at 6:30 p.m. eastern to those in attendance. The church is located at 206 Roane Street in Oliver Springs.

Potter’s House Fellowship – Trunk or Treat Sunday October 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roane State Community College in Harriman

MONDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2018

Brookdale Senior Living on Bradford Way in Kingston – Trunk or Treat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. eastern

Food City in Harriman – 4:30 until 7 p.m. with registration for a costume contest from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. A trunk or treat will also be featured.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2018

Downtown Harriman community Trunk-or-Treat hosted by HUB – 5 to 8 p.m. eastern. The City will be blocking off Roane Street downtown. This event is FREE and open to the public! Games, candy, costume contests, prizes, and food. The movie “Hocus Pocus” will be shown at the Princess Theatre for free that evening beginning at 7 p.m.

Roane State Community College in Harriman – Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot. This is for ages 12 and under. In case of bad weather, it will be held at the same time in the Vann Student Lounge on the campus.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2018

Victory Baptist Church in Kingston – Trunk or Treat from 6 to 8 p.m. eastern.

Rockwood Sports Complex 2ndAnnual Field of Screams – from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring a trunk or treat and hay rides for free

First Baptist Church of Kingston – Treat Street in the parking lot from 6 to 8 p.m. eastern

First Christian Church in Oak Ridge – located at 100 Gum Hollow Road – drive thru trunk or treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. eastern.

VFW in Harriman – trunk-or-treat from 5 to 7 p.m.

Harriman Care and Rehab – 5:30 to 7 p.m. with candy, costume contest and lots of fun
