The Wartburg Central Bulldogs football team is mourning the loss of one of their coaches. Corey Keathley passed away this week after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Keathley coached at Wartburg Middle School before coming to the high school team last year. Keathley was loved by his players and fellow coaches. The family will receive friends this Sunday at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 1 to 3 p.m. with the funeral to follow. The Bulldogs will be in action tonight (Friday, October 12, 2018) at Rockwood and will be giving the Tigers everything they have in honor of the fallen coach.
