RAIN THEN MUCH COOLER

A steady rain for much of the night as we get the outer rain bands of hurricane Michael, a couple of thundershowers are possible in East Tennessee. Expect an overnight low in the upper 50s. Thursday will start out with clouds and showers and end with some sunshine I expect, high temperatures in the upper 60s and a North Breeze. Friday and Saturday are looking sunny and cool with high temperatures around 60 and lows dropping to near 40 in some areas. Hurricane Michael brought a 129 mile per hour wind gust to Tyndall Air Force base near Panama City Florida. Over 6 inches of snow has fallen in parts of North Dakota. Amazing to see the contrast in weather across the country, it never gets boring as a meteorologist!
