A person well-known to Cumberland County deputies found himself back in jail yesterday. Officers saw Bobby Lynn Norris of Crossville riding a bicycle on Burnett Street swerving from lane to lane. Authorities stopped Norris in the parking lot of a church and a search of him apparently revealed meth and over $1,600 believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. Norris was charged with possession of a Schedule II drug for resale, simple possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Norris was arrested earlier this month for vehicle theft and manufacture sale and delivery of meth. Jail officials say the 37-year-old Norris has been booked into the jail 77 times since April of 2000.
