ARRESTS RISE, AS WELL AS JUVENILES TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, IN CROSSVILLE

The Crossville City Council will review the latest monthly report (September 2018) from the police department at their meeting tomorrow night with increases in activity noted. Police arrested 160 individuals last month compared to 116 the month before. Of the offenses noted, 33 were drug related followed by thefts, shoplifting and vandalism. Also up is the number of juvenile arrests. Authorities placed 12 into custody with 8 of those being assault charges. Officers also responded to 92 accidents. The Crossville Fire Department responded to three structure fires and 19 accidents.
