ADAMS DIES FROM ELECTROCUTION WHILE TRIMMING TREES

A Blount County man died yesterday and another man was injured after getting electrocuted while trimming trees at a home. The accident happened on Mountain Thrush Drive when 57-year-old John F. Adams of Townsend was trying to move a ladder when it made contact with an overhead power line. He was taken to Blount Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time after arrival. The other man involved, 34-year-old Jeremy R. Logan, was treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
