NORRIS ARRESTED AFTER APPARENTLY TAKING A VEHICLE WITHOUT PERMISSION

Cumberland County deputies responded yesterday to Mackie Road for a vehicle theft. The report indicates the owner woke up to find a note supposedly from 50-year-old Kimberly Renee Norris of Crossville saying she took his 1996 Ford Explorer and would return it. The owner told officers she did not have permission to drive the Explorer. Two hours later, deputies found the vehicle on Rogers Road and arrested Norris for theft between $1,000 and $9,999.
