Comments are Off

The manufacturer has recalled CFORCE all-terrain vehicles because of a fire hazard, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

According to the CPSC, CFMOTO recalled the vehicles because the fuel hose can crack, leaving fuel to leak from the ATV, which is a potential fire hazard.

About 5,300 vehicles were sold.

The model is the 2016-2018 CFORCE 400, 500S and 2017-2018 HO ATVs with 400cc to 500cc, 4-cycle engines. The “CFMOTO” logo is located on the front and rear grille, and a “CFORCE” decal is on each side of the fuel tank. CFMOTO CFORCE vehicles were sold in orange, blue, red and gray.

The VIN number is found under the seat on the top of the right side, top frame rail.

The company asks consumers to stop using the vehicles immediately and contact a CFMOTO dealer to schedule a free repair.

Customers can call 888-823-6686 or email info@cfmotousa.com for more information.
