TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON I-40 IN ROANE COUNTY LEAVES ONE INJURED

A two vehicle accident on I-40 in Roane County just before noon today left one hurt. Troopers state a 1999 Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by 54-year-old Gary S. Wilson of Maryville and a 2015 Honda Genesis operated by 36-year-old Heather Shoaf of Knoxville collided at the 343 eastbound mile marker. Shoaf was injured in the crash while Wilson was not hurt. The accident caused traffic to back up for a while.
