Over 3.5 inches of rain fell on Roane, Loudon, Meigs, McMinn and Rhea counties overnight in a three-hour period leading to the National Weather Service issuing a flash flood warning. It is set to expire just before 8 a.m eastern. The National Weather Service has all of the listening area under a high chance of moderate to heavy rainfall today. That will lead to water building up over roadways and flooding in areas. If you have to travel today, take extra time in getting to your destination
