TWO ARRESTED AFTER REPORTEDLY TRAVELING AT SPEEDS OVER 100 MPH

Two individuals are facing charges in Cumberland County in separate cases after traveling at speeds over 100 miles per hour. Officers recently stopped a vehicle on Highway 70 North after Kraig Austin Murphy of Sparta was supposedly clocked at 102 in a 55 mile per hour zone. He was arrested for reckless endangerment and reckless driving. Yesterday, deputies stopped 26-year-old Tyler Anthony Walton of Crossville on Highway 70 West for apparently going 111 in a 55 mile per hour zone. Walton was booked for reckless driving and DUI.
