WYATT PICKS UP PAPERS TO RUN AGAINST MAYBERRY FOR CROSSVILLE MAYOR

Crossville City Councilman Danny Wyatt picked up qualifying papers to run for mayor late this afternoon. Wyatt has served as councilman for the last eight years including one term as mayor pro tem. Wyatt told 105.7 News tonight that he felt like the citizens of Crossville need a choice since current Mayor James Mayberry was running unopposed. Wyatt has until noon Thursday (August 16, 2018) to turn in the amount of signatures of registered voters needed to run for mayor. Mayor Mayberry told 105.7 News this evening that there is improvements going on now in the city and planned projects for the future and he would like another term to make sure those projects become reality for the citizens of Crossville.
