SILVER ALERT ISSUED FOR MISSING ROANE COUNTY WOMAN WITH DEMENTIA

The Roane County Sheriff’s Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 89-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.

Deputies say Georgia Kirkland left her home today saying she was going to Oliver Springs. She was spotted in Spring City earlier today, but she had not been reported missing at that time.

Kirkland is 5’5″ with gray hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen driving a silver Ford Focus with Tennessee tag 902XWS.

She may be in the Dayton, Tennessee, area or trying to return to her home in Harriman.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Roane County 911 Center at (865) 354-8045.

UPDATE 7 p.m. central – She has been found safe…..silver alert cancelled
