SEARCH FOR NEW CROSSVILLE POLICE CHIEF TO BEGIN SOON

The City of Crossville will start their search for a permanent chief of police as early as next week after David Beaty was dismissed yesterday. Captain Chris Kendrick has been named interim chief. In a related matter, a meeting of the personnel board scheduled for tomorrow (Friday, August 9, 2018) to hear a grievance filed by Police Sgt. Tim Vandever against Beaty has been canceled after Vandever withdrew the complaint.
