Home > Steve Norris Weather > 50% SHOWER CHANCES

Scattered showers and thunder showers will continue to be a daily feature of our forecast all the way through the end of the week and the weekend. About a 50% chance each day with high temperatures in the low 80s and lows in the mid-60s. Sunrise is 5:54 Central/ 6:54 Eastern and Sunset 7:38 Central Time. The night sky continues to be very interesting with four planets visible. Venus to the west and Jupiter to the Southwest while Saturn and Mars are visible to the South and Southeast. The planets are quite bright and visible to the naked eye. Two lines of heavy storms moved across Tennessee early Wednesday afternoon with scattered reports of wind damage and lightning strikes from Nashville to Knoxville. I don’t expect the storms the next couple of days to be quite as intense
