HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL JAMBOREES SET IN CUMBERLAND AND ROANE CO.

High school football teams in Cumberland and Roane County will be showcased this Friday night (August 10, 2018) in jamborees. The second annual Cumberland County Jets versus Monterey will start at 6 p.m. at Jet Stadium in Crossville. Peewee action will kick off the event, followed by Junior Jets at 6:30, senior groups at 7, middle schools at 7:30, high school JV at 8 and high school varsity at 8:30. All games will have a 20 minute running clock and each team will have one time out to use. No tents, coolers or pets will be allowed in the stadium. Coaches and immediate family will be admitted free with players in uniform. The cost for the jamboree for others is $5 per person. The stadium is undergoing renovations and the inside of the stadium will be closed. Two concession stands will be set up and available for fans.

The Roane County Jamboree will also be held Friday night (August 10, 2018) at the football field at Roane County High School starting at 7 p.m. eastern time. All high school teams from Roane County, as well as the Stone Memorial Panthers, will be in action for one quarter per team.
