TEEN RESCUED AFTER 50-FOOT DROP AT RAINBOW FALLS

A 15-year-old female was successfully rescued yesterday by helicopter after a 50-foot fall at Rainbow Falls in Signal Mountain, Tennessee.

The girl was rescued from a difficult position and needing medical care.

First responders from 11 emergency response agencies worked together to make the rescue successful.

The patient was airlifted by Tennessee Highway Patrol Helicopter to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment. The teenager was said to be alert and responsive when transported.
