VEHICLE CRASH ON I-40 IN ROANE CO. LEAVES EIGHT WITH POSSIBLE INJURIES

A three-vehicle accident on I-40 in Roane County yesterday left eight with possible injuries. A 2009 International tractor-trailer operated by 65-year-old Clifford Boling of Knoxville, a 2018 Dodge Caravan driven by 24-year-old Dustin McCracken of Elgin, Oklahoma, and a 2016 Chevy Silverado driven by 42-year-old Angela McCracken of Elgin, Oklahoma, all collided at the 357 mile marker eastbound. Both McCrackens, along with passengers in their vehicles, 46-year-old David McCracken, 23-year-old Kylie Dickinson, 23-year-old Mason Miller, 21-year-old Kaylia McCracken, 1-year-old Gunner McCracken and 1-year-old Rowdy McCracken, all sustained possible injuries in the accident. Boling was cited by the highway patrol for failure to exercise due care.
