A Overton County deputy is accused of running over a 2-year-old child Friday night. Family members of Kayden Blodgett say the child suffered a non-fatal injury but was flown to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital for treatment. The Overton County Sheriff’s Department reportedly would not confirm the details of the incident. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is expected to start investigating the incident today. Kayden was released from the hospital over the weekend.
