A line of severe thunderstorms left a trail of damage this afternoon in several counties. Bradley County appears to have taken the brunt of the storms, with numerous trees down and some structural damage around Cleveland. Volunteer Energy officials say as many as 5,600 were without power in Bradley County alone after the storms passed. In McMinn County, numerous trees were blown down by high winds; and in Monroe County, trees were reported down around Tellico Plains.
