MULTI-AGENCY RESCUE OF WOMAN WHO FELL FROM LEDGE IN CRAB ORCHARD

A 26-year-old woman sustained injuries after falling 35 feet from Big Rock late Saturday night.  Members of the rescue squad, county Fire, EMS, and Crossville City Fire teamed up to evacuate the woman from the scene. She was airlifted to U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville for treatment. Further information will be released at a later time.

Big Rock is a well known local spot located above the Lhoist limestone tunnels in the Crab Orchard area of Cumberland County.
