The Crossville Police Department released its latest monthly report at the city council meeting last night. The May 2018 report states officers made 146 arrests, took six juveniles into custody and wrote 108 citations. Of the offenses noted, eight were vandalism, followed by burglaries, vehicle thefts and shoplifting. Of the arrests reported, the top number was drug violations. Officers also responded to 99 accidents. The Crossville Fire Department was also busy last month according to its report. Firefighters responded to 235 calls ranging from full-scale structure blazes down to service calls.
