Crossville police responded Saturday night to a disturbance at a business on Genesis Road. Officers spotted a vehicle leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. A chase ensued that ended up on Stone Drive when the vehicle went into a wooded area. A K-9 officer was successfully used to track 36-year-old Thomas Clint Shubert and 23-year-old Cheyenne Summer Mayo, both of Crossville. A report states Shubert had two firearms in the vehicle while reportedly intoxicated. Shubert was arrested for reckless driving, evading arrest, and DUI. Mayo was taken into custody for evading arrest.
