MORE STORMS FRIDAY

///
Comments are Off

Showers and thunderstorms will be likely again on Friday and some of them will be heavy. Again on Thursday some of the thunderstorms dumped an inch of rain or more like they did on Wednesday and I think it will occur again on Friday. High temperatures will generally be from 75 to 80. The weekend will see a 40% chance of showers with highs in the low 80s. Friday will Mark the 23rd anniversary of an F3 tornado in Cumberland County. The Twister begin near Newton crossed over Taylor’s Chapel and Lantana Road to the lake Tansi area. There were 20 injuries in the county from this tornado and this is a storm I remember well as we tracked it all the way from Cannon County in Middle Tennessee and part of the time it had a clear indication of a tornado so we were rather confident of what was coming, this was a scary one.
