FIRE DESTROYS HOME IN SEQUATCHIE COUNTY

Sequatchie County authorities are looking into what caused a fire that destroyed a home in Deerhead Resort yesterday. Fire crews say no one was in the residence on Fawn Circle at the time of the fire. Crews arrived on scene to find the structure fully involved. Firefighters were on the scene for approximately three hours. No injuries were reported. The Cagle Volunteer Fire Department, Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department and Dunlap Volunteer Fire Department all worked the blaze.
