The 8th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office has announced the results of an investigation into the deaths of two individuals found inside a burned structure in October of 2017 in Fentress County. Law enforcement and firefighters responded then to a house blaze on Deer Lodge Highway in Clarkrange, where they found the bodies of 26-year-old Ronnie Babb of Oneida and 35-year-old Cherry Dolinich of Clarkrange. The incident was investigated by the TBI, state fire officials and the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office. In the report just released, officers say Babb shot Dolinich then shot himself before or during the house being set on fire. The incident has been ruled a murder-suicide
