TWO ACCIDENTS IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY RESULTS IN INJURIES

A vehicle accident on Highway 70 West at Pomona Road in Cumberland County left multiple injuries. The Tennessee Highway Patrol will release a full report of the crash at a later time. A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 in Cumberland County this morning left one injured. Troopers say a 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by 22-year-old Haylee Cunningham of Kingston hydroplaned at the 338 westbound mile marker, struck a bridge wall and came to rest in the left lane. Her vehicle was then hit by a 2015 Ford Explorer driven by 79-year-old Charles Brasher of Grass Valley, California. Cunningham was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
