NO INJURIES REPORTED AFTER TRASH TRUCK DROPS INTO HOLE IN PARKING LOT

A trash crew found themselves and their truck nearly swallowed up by a hole that developed in the parking lot of Tony Smith Shelter Insurance on Broad Street in Cookeville yesterday. Cookeville Mayor Ricky Shelton said it was not a sinkhole and the cause of the incident is undetermined at this time. No injuries were reported. Two heavy-duty industrial cranes were called in to lift the truck out of the hole late yesterday.
