ONE DEAD IN HAMILTON COUNTY PLANE CRASH

One person was killed in a plane crash in Hamilton County last night (Friday, April 20, 2018). Officials say the crash happened at the Collegedale Airport just before 6:30 p.m. At this time the identity of the pilot has not been released and the cause of the crash is under investigation. Officials say the pilot was the only one in the aircraft and frequently used the Collegedale airport. Federal Aviation Administration investigators will be at the crash site this morning to try to determine what went wrong with the aircraft.
