A high-speed chase in Morgan County led to an arrest. Officers say a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Mitzi Darlene Owens was traveling at a high rate of speed in Deer Lodge. Owens led officers onto Deer Lodge Pike, Meister Hills Road, Hull Family Road, Perkins Trail and back onto Meister Hills Road where Owens reportedly almost hit another officer head on. Owens stopped and ran off on foot. She was apprehended a short time later. Owens is facing a host of charges including reckless endangerment, manufacture, sale and delivery of meth and reckless driving.
