We were saddened to hear of Dr Garland’s passing. He performed a complex ankle reconstruction on me almost four years ago, and I was impressed not only with his skill but also his caring bedside manner and followup. The community has lost a great resource and also a good friend to many. Our sincere condolences to the family.

Ty Garland was more than just an outstanding doctor and surgeon, he was an outstanding human being and someone I called my brother. He is an example of what we should all strive to be and live life with great passion.
