We were saddened to hear of Dr Garland’s passing. He performed a complex ankle reconstruction on me almost four years ago, and I was impressed not only with his skill but also his caring bedside manner and followup. The community has lost a great resource and also a good friend to many. Our sincere condolences to the family.

Ty Garland was more than just an outstanding doctor and surgeon, he was an outstanding human being and someone I called my brother. He is an example of what we should all strive to be and live life with great passion. My simple words will never adequately describe the love and respect that l have for my friend and my brother……I will always remember.
