A Putnam County man was arrested after reportedly leading Mount Juliet police on a short, low-speed pursuit. Officers were called to Golden Bear Gateway and Interstate 40 after receiving a report of a crashed car occupied by 36-year-old Eric Moore of Cookeville that was doing circles in the middle of the road. Officers attempted to pull Moore over, but he reportedly continued slowly on Golden Bear Gateway for about a mile before pulling over. Officers say the vehicle was reported stolen from Putnam County. Moore was charged with driving on a revoked license, possession of methamphetamine, theft of property, leaving the scene of a crash, resisting arrest and driving under the influence.
