COOKEVILLE MEN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN PARKING LOT OF PROBATION OFFICE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A man is facing drug charges after being questioned by a deputy in the parking lot of a probation office yesterday in Cumberland County. According to the arrest report, a search of 32-year-old Billy Joe White of Cookeville revealed a bag of cocaine and another bag of meth. White was charged with two counts of manufacture, sale and delivery of a controlled substance. Officers say White was out on bond in Putnam County for meth possession. Another man with White, 32-year-old Brandon Jack Wayne Turner of Cookeville was charged with manufacture, sale and delivery of a controlled substance.
