Last night, Crossville police responded to Walmart for a possible shoplifter. Officers came into contact with 27-year-old Darion Michael Davis of Crossville and 29-year-old Leah Ann Carter of Harriman, who both had outstanding warrants. A search of Carter’s purse reportedly revealed two syringes, one loaded with meth. Carter also reportedly produced three packs of lithium batteries and a bottle of fingernail polish hidden in her bra. Carter was arrested for possession of meth and simple possession of drugs. Both were taken to the Cumberland County jail.
