///
Comments are Off

A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 70 West and Star Road in Cumberland County early last night resulted in the road being temporarily closed. Officers say 65-year-old Karen Blaylock slowed down to turn onto Star Drive when a vehicle operated by 34-year-old Jonathan Tredway of Crossville failed to slow down and rear-ended Blaylock’s vehicle. Blaylock was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Tredway was cited for failure to exercise care and failure to provide proof of vehicle insurance.
