The Cumberland County Commission in their upcoming April 2018 meeting is expected to entertain a request to allow meteorologist Steve Norris to use the historic Tennessee Highway Patrol stone museum on Main Street as an office for Norris. Downtown Crossville, Inc. requested the action to the building and grounds committee at a recent meeting. The committee was asked to provide a wheelchair ramp and internet access and replace and upgrade the storm door for the building to prepare it for a weather office that Steve can send out his daily forecasts from. The building and grounds committee passed the recommendation unanimously to send the proposal to the full county commission for approval next month. Steve’s forecasts can be heard throughout the day every day on 105.7 The Hog.
