TWO FACING CHARGES AFTER SHOPLIFTING INCIDENT IN CROSSVILLE

Two individuals from Crossville are facing charges following a shoplifting incident. Police responded to Burke’s Outlet where 36-year-old Tony Rasso of Crossville reportedly attempted to leave without paying for merchandise. Officers say when Rasso went outside and saw officers, he allegedly attempted to run towards a vehicle but was taken into custody. The arrest report states that a female driver in the car, 41-year-old Jennifer Lynn Gaddis of Crossville, saw Rasso placed into custody and drove away. She was pulled over minutes later. A check of the vehicle reportedly revealed a bag containing over 8 grams of meth, three sets of digital scales, four syringes and over $1,300 in cash. Rasso was charged with shoplifting while Gaddis was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
