An investigation continues into the shooting of a man in the parking lot of Weigels on Gallaher Road in Roane County this past Saturday night. Officers say 19-year-old Robert Grant McNeil of Rockwood got into an altercation with several men before one shot McNeil in the forearm. He was transported to U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville for treatment of injuries. Kingston Police Chief Jim Washam told 105.7 News this afternoon that camera footage from the store is being reviewed to gather more information and interviews still are ongoing to determine the identity of the shooter.
