Volunteer Energy would like to inform their customers in the Lantana Road and Lake Tansi areas of Cumberland County that crews from their contractor, Power Pole Maintenance Company, will be in those areas next week (February 19-23, 2018) performing power pole inspections. Crews will consist of 2 to 6 members in pickup trucks and possibly ATVs. These inspections will allow crews to identify poles that may need replacement, as they continually work to make system improvements. It will not be necessary for anyone to be home when these crews arrive, and power will not be affected by these inspections. VEC thanks their customers in this area for their cooperation.
