BREAKING: 1 DEAD IN MISSING PLANE CRASH IN SCOTT COUNTY

One person has died and one person was injured in a Scott County plane crash. Emergency crews had been searching for an overdue airplane in the Huntsville area Wednesday morning. The plane was located around 9:30 AM in the Brimstone Mountain area of Scott County. Reportedly, a woman posted on her Facebook page that the plane, which was flying from Florida to Urbana, Ohio, was occupied by her parents and their dog. Officials say the woman’s mother was killed, but her father and their dog survived. Her father was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
