An investigation by special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation resulted in the seizure of about five pounds of the drug commonly known as “Molly.” During the investigation, agents received information that a drug trafficking organization from the west coast of the U.S. was looking into beginning a distribution cell in Middle Tennessee. Agents learned of a delivery that was scheduled to be made to a Murfreesboro address.

On January 29, TBI agents, working with Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Murfreesboro Police Department, found information that led to the seizure of five pounds of MDA and the arrest of two people. On January 29, 23-year-old Kyle Dallas Bowen,  and 36-year-old Trey Nicholas Jones, were arrested and charged with one count of a Schedule 6 substance for resale, and one count of possession of a Schedule 1 substance. They were both booked into the Rutherford County Jail, where their bond was set at $100,000 each.
