A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY will go into effect at 9 p.m. tonight and expire at 6 p.m. tomorrow evening for the entire 105.7 The Hog listening area. A cold front will move through the area late today and this evening, followed by a period of light snow. Snowfall will average around 1 to 2 inches with higher amounts possible. Along with the snow, temperatures will plummet to the teens overnight, and will not rise much at all on Tuesday. The wind will not be terribly strong, but it will be enough to keep wind chills in the single digits late tonight through Tuesday. Roads will become snow covered and slippery, and with cold temperatures, the snow will stick around for a couple of days. Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Tuesday. As of 8:15 a.m. this morning, no school closings are reported but that is expected to change late today and overnight. Check back with us for updates on school closings.
