We will have rain through midday Friday and then colder air will come rushing in for the afternoon with rain changing to freezing rain and then sleet and finally over to snow. How much we get of each type of precipitation depends on how fast the cold air moves into the upper atmosphere but here is what is expected right now. Up to a tenth of an inch of freezing rain is possible followed by 1 to 2 inches of snow that will end as flurries on Saturday. A winter weather advisory will be in effect and road conditions will worsen as we go through the afternoon into Friday night. High temperatures on Saturday will only reach the upper twenties with lows in the teens. We have another chance of light snow Monday night with very cold temperatures through Wednesday. I will keep you updated throughout the duration of the storm so keep in touch
